Enhancing Higher Education Student Class Attendance through Truancy Reduction Program at the University of Namibia

The major objective of the present study was to identify contributory factors truancy among higher education students at university Namibia. Besides that, it aimed gaining a comprehensive understanding reduction program which may adopt help lessen situation. A broader view attendance issues in institutions is becoming more prevalent literature. Also, rise learning has been accompanied by sharp increase journey source for approaches enhancing class amongst students. sample comprised 48 full-time from faculty Education and Human Sciences aged between 17 60 years old University Namibia’s Rundu campus. Data collected using open-ended online survey questionnaire. questionnaire consists two sections, one on respondents’ demographic data other students’ attendance. pilot had conducted validate instrument. Respondents were sent link via WhatsApp platform them respond to. Responses monitored corresponding author google docs. analysed thematically. Results demonstrate that significantly influenced students, lecturers, thorough grasp programme use reduce should be imposed.
